I would like to tell you a story about the success of an insurance company in Lebanon…‪ In 1997, ALIG was established in Beirut by ARIG to serve the Lebanese market. Its shareholders were from Bahrain, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and a minority from Lebanon. As the company grew and became profitable, the majority of the shareholders became Lebanese. ‪ Initially, ALIG had no captive business and none of its shareholders were feeding the company with business either. The only thing that ALIG had was its solid foundation, a perfect system, and its parent company’s reputation.
