Physician and Surgeon, born in Bogotá, D.C., Colombia. Graduated from the Nueva Granada Military University (Bogotá, Colombia), as a Physician and Surgeon, in 1984. I did a specialization in Plastic, Aesthetic, Maxillofacial and Hand Surgery at the Dos Defeitos Da Face Hospital, a subsidiary of the Holy House of Mercy (Sao Paulo, Brazil), culminating in 1992. Subsequently, I completed a sub specialization in Micro Hair Transplantation at the Clinica del Doctor Munir Curi (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and carried out several studies, among others, such as Visitor At The Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at NYU Medical Center in New York, United States. I have participated as a co-author and lecturer on the topic of Strategies in the Treatment of Androgenetic Baldness in the XXVI National Congress of Plastic Surgery (Cartagena de Indias, Colombia) in 1997. I am currently validated and recognized for all academic and legal purposes in Colombia by the Subdirectorate for Monitoring and Surveillance of the Colombian Institute for the Promotion of Higher Education ICFES and certified by the Head of the Surveillance and Control Area of the Offer of Services of the Secretary of Health of Bogotá, DC. Full Member of the Colombian Society of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery SCCP, of the Ibero-Latin American Federation of Plastic Surgery FILACP, International Confederation for Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery IPRAS, International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery ISAPS and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons ASPS. This fact guarantees continuous training and the support that the different institutions give to the work carried out for more than 20 years.
