ISTE Mechatronics Club RIT
www.isterit.comMechatronics is a multidisplinary field of engineering that includes a combination of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering. The Mechatronics Club of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technolgy is a part of the ISTE RIT Chapter and was formed in November 2015. The club assists the students to develop more knowledge and apply classroom theory to practice. It also promotes opportunities for students to undertake industry experience and assist to strengthen the bond between university, students and industry. The club was formed and undertaken by enthusiastic students as well as faculty from mechanical, electrical, electronics and computer engineering departments, under the guidance of an advisor and a great team of student committee. The club has conducted numerous workshops which involved active participation from students and faculties. There are many opportunities for students to develop skills in leading, conducting, volunteering events as well as sharing knowledge as resource persons. The upgrowing club is taking initiatives in conducting many more workshops, exhibitions and seminars within RIT and also among various colleges.
