Longlac Wood Industries operates two mills on our site in Longlac, Ontario. The first is a Hardwood Plywood operation, which produces traditional Veneer Core Hardwood Plywood as well as a specially engineered Hardwood Plywood called Longlac Multicore. The second is North America's only Random Wafer Board operation. Random Wafer Board offers many advantages over OSB for specific industrial and construction applications. Random Wafer Board also offers a stable platform for laminating, as used in Longlac Multicore Hardwood Plywood and other industrial laminating applications. Longlac's Random Wafer Board mill produces to Canadian standards CSA-0437 and CSA-0325, and U.S. standards PS-2 and Structural 1, plus various specialty applications such as Engineered Web Stock.
