Being the principal of my own design studio allowed me to develop and work within a broad range of skills and disciplines. These included studio management, administration, training, vision-casting, customer service and new business development. Project management of multiple assignments and campaigns within strict timelines and budgets. Brand management, visual identity development, packaging design, consulting, photography, illustration, website design and programming management. Magazine, publication, editorial, and advertisement design. Working for Group Publishing and PPH allowed me to lead a team of designers to help develop and launch new product lines and give new life to existing lines. Working close with editors, marketers, illustrators, photographers, developers and top level executives, we successfully launched many new innovative brands and products. During this time I worked on both product and package design, as well as marketing pieces that included: branding, web design, email marketing, direct mail, catalogs, print and online advertising.
