After the success of the Dirt Factory Pop-Up Indoor Bike Park in Manchester, the Dirt Factory team are exploring permanent indoor bike park venues. Dirt Factory is a Manchester-based company created by five friends with a passion for mountain biking. The team’s aim is to create the UK’s first dedicated indoor bike park; making cycling, mountain biking and BMX more accessible by bringing a high-quality riding experience to a highly populated area. Central to the Dirt Factory ethos is that by having fun on your bike, you will improve your skills, health, wellbeing and confidence, and are more likely to cycle more often. Dirt Factory Indoor Bike Park aims to engage local communities, create new opportunities and enable riders to have fun whatever the weather, whilst becoming more confident and more active on their bikes. The founders are on a mission to secure a permanent home (approximately 80,000 square feet) and transform it into a ground breaking leisure experience, utilizing knowledge from similar facilities around the world. Dirt Factory not only aims to attract those people who already ride bikes but will strive towards encouraging non-riders to learn and enjoy the sport in a safe and supported environment.
