Rooted in its community, I Musici de Montréal strives to improve the quality of life in the city by celebrating Montreal’s diversity and promoting the artistic and cultural vitality of the Quebec metropolis. As Canada's foremost generalist chamber orchestra, we demonstrate our versatility by sharing music, inviting discovery and finding innovative ways to make classical music accessible. We wish to act as a creative catalyst in the city by developing artistic, cultural and educational collaborative projects unique to Montreal; promoting the music of established and lesser-known composers; and encouraging musical creation and renewal.
