The NFDF is an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organization in the U.S. We are in the business of educating and supporting people about Fabry disease primarily in the U.S. with some program offered globally. We are doing everything we can in cooperation with mutually minded people and organizations to fight against this progressive, destructive and life-threatening disease. Our mission: To help ensure that all individuals with Fabry disease are identified, diagnosed and treated in time to avoid a diminished quality of life or life threatening consequences, to provide assistance to individuals with Fabry disease and their families, to provide Fabry disease education and awareness, to promote continued data-gathering and research to improve treatment opportunities and to find a cure.
