Formed in 2005, Manikaran Power Limited (MPL) is a Trading Member of Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) and Power Exchange India Ltd (PXIL). MPL is also a Category-I Inter State Trading Licensee. MPL has been efficaciously implementing the power trading concept in India and has successfully demonstrated its capability in optimally utilizing the existing infrastructure within the country for the benefit of all. A mix of power sales contracts in both Renewable and Non- Renewable energy in the Short Term, Medium-term and on the Power Exchanges has given MPL a unique strength in terms of Energy Portfolio diversity. MPL has been a regular supplier of coal to various IPPs in India. With the mix of Industrial Consumers, Gas Sellers and City Gas Distributors(CGDs), MPL has developed a strong Gas trading portfolio.
