We choose the name mavin for our company to represent the people we support. Mavin means experienced, knowledgeable, a person who understands. We know this is true of our clients. Our clients are mavins in their own lives, captains of their own ships. Our job is to listen to them, to recognise that they know more than we do, or society does. From there, we figure out how to use that information to support them in the longterm.
