Industrial Ecology and Circular Economy is concerned with the flows of energy and materials in society, their environmental consequences and impact on the societal and economic system. Industrial Ecology and Circular Economy Professionals can help to understand, manage and reduce environmental risks at product, organisational and global levels. The IECEP was created to connect employers (businesses, NGOs, public bodies) with appropriate sustainability experts. The IECEP also connects Industrial Ecology/Circular Economy education with professionals to promote up-to-date relevance in a rapidly developing field. The IECEP consists of professionals and young professionals from different countries, all united together to advance sustainability through the implementation of Industrial Ecology and Circular Economy principles.
