Rusty Quill is a London-based, British production company, creating original media content since 2015, whilst providing break-in opportunities for people who want to join the industry but can't afford to take unpaid internships. We specialise in high-concept speculative fiction and serialised narratives, but will turn our hand to just about anything that tickles our collective fancies. Basically, if it sounds like a really cool idea but is a nightmare to explain, we're all over it! In addition to our own projects, we're also available to produce or consult on other creative/media work (rates on request), either as a team or individual staff. Between our current free-to-air offerings, we've amassed a worldwide fanbase, have a thriving & active community on various social media platforms, and recently passed the 10 million total listens mark. We're always looking for new creative outlets, including webcomics, video and livestreaming. Our podcast roster includes: - The Rusty Quill Gaming Podcast (#RQGaming, 2015), a weekly actual play, fully soundscaped podcast following a mixed group of comedians, improvisers and roleplayers as they play extended, tabletop role-playing games, along with special guests from time-to-time. - The Magnus Archives (#MagnusPod, 2016), a multi-award nominated, weekly anthology of horror fiction, examining what lurks in the files of an esoteric research institute. Sometimes funny, always creepy, and with a dedicated fanbase of red-string theorists. - Stellar Firma (#Stellar Firma, 2019), a weekly semi-improvised sci-fi comedy following the (mis)adventures of a pair of hapless planetary designers as they seek to fulfil the wishes of a bored galactic elite. Fast-paced fun, with a healthy homage to Douglas Adams. - Outliers: Stories from the edge of history (#OutliersPod, 2017), our first third-party collaboration, a very well-received historical fiction series, produced in conjunction with Historic Royal Palaces.
