IMES was founded in June 2010 by Brett Hampson with the vision to provide a new innovative and quality product to the resources sector. IMES core business is focused around Plasma Transfer Arc Welding (PTAW). This thermal surfacing product has proven to significantly reduce operational costs and increase productivity. PTAW surfacing process significantly prolongs the life of ground engaging tools and wear components. IMES has achieved strong penetration in Central Qld’s Bowen Basin region driven by our continuous improvement philosophy on business.
