Qualitative Recruitment Australia is a leading focus group recruitment agency headquartered in Sydney. QRA was acquired by McNair yellowsquares in July 2022. Clients include local and international full service and specialist market research agencies, independent researchers, advertising agencies, marketing consultancies, Government departments and client companies, in both consumer and business sectors. As a member of the Australian Data and Insights Association (ADIA), QRA operated within the Market and Social Research Privacy Principles Managed by Mike Beder (to June 2022), a 30-year veteran of the local MR industry, QRA catered for all aspects of qualitative research recruitment, including to on-line communities. Mike has QPR accreditation and has been an active volunteer member to the Australian market research industry; these roles have included Board Member for The Research Society (TRS), chairperson of the New South Wales State Committee, Chairperson for the Qualitative Recruiters' Group (a special interest group of the TRS), Committee member the annual TRS Conference. He was also an active member of The Australian Data and Insights Association and has been a committee member for their annual Leaders' Forum Conference for many years. Mike has spoken at a number of industry conferences on research related issues. His presentation on memory won the People's Choice award at the 2017 WA State Conference in 2017. As a means of demonstrating the company's commitment to servicing overseas clients, Mike was a member of ESOMAR and the Market Research Association (USA) and achieved the MRA's Professional Researcher Certification (PRC).
