Our WWAMI program brings students together from Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho for a rich, multi-site education experience, enabling them to interact with and learn from diverse populations across the Pacific Northwest. Over 1,350 residents and fellows participate in 32 residency and 82 clinical fellowship programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) throughout Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho. Our top-ranking and well-resourced research environment, home to 1,200+ graduate students and 650 postdocs, receives more than $600 million annually in funding for biomedical research and scientist training.
