As a specialist for the production of radioactive pharmaceuticals, the IASON Company brought the method of positron-emission-tomography to Austria in 1997. The IASON Group produce radioactive pharmaceuticals themselves and sell their specialized laboratory products for the target groups nuclear medicine and laboratory medicine in the whole of Europe. In June 2021, IASON was successfully acquired by Curium and has been integrated in a network of 27 PET sites across Europe.
