The Association of Gas Producers of Ukraine is a nonprofit organization founded in December 2015 to represent the upstream sector of the petroleum industry in Ukraine. It is comprised of nine leading gas producing companies of Ukraine: Ukrgasvydobuvannya, DTEK Oil&Gas, Burisma Group, Ukrnaftoburinnya, Smart Energy, Poltava Petroleum Company, Zakhidadarservice, Geo Alliance Group and KUB-Gas. All together they produce 93% of the Ukrainian natural gas. Moreover, our companies generate 5% of the state budget revenues, providing 26 thousand of jobs within the country. Our primary goal is to provide the exploration and production sector with a working environment that will enhance the performance of oil and gas industry, contribute to the energy security of Ukraine's economy, and broaden public awareness of the industry's contributions to society. The specific areas of concern are 1) public relations, 2) legislation affecting the natural gas and crude industry, 3) compliance with rules and regulations, and 4) education and training.
