The Sports Medicine & Training Center is an independently owned physical therapy private practice in the suburban St. Louis Area. SMTC was founded in 2002, and is still owned and jointly operated by Scott and Roberta Van Nest. SMTC is known for its highly qualified and talented staff of professionals and its hands-on, intensive approach to physical therapy. SMTC has two large, well-equipped facilities and offers a positive working environment with emphasis on quality of care and staff fulfillment. We have an interdisciplinary staff including physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, exercise physiologists, certified strength coaches, and athletic trainers. In addition to physical therapy we offer sports performance and personal training services, endurance sport coaching and group exercise classes, as well as athletic trainers’ services to local high schools and teams.
