As Heart Forward, we empower communities through the creation of innovative artistic projects—at home and abroad—that challenge ourselves, our audiences, and our collaborators to find strength in shared stories and to foster social change. Heart Forward is the coming together of two lifelong theatre artists into a formalized group that better serves audiences and artists through combined effort. Lisa Kramer and Rachel Wiese each have a history of innovative, inclusive, immersive theatre work as performers and as educators. Together, as Heart Forward, they will continue to create new work that promotes social justice, female empowerment, and compassion in their Central Massachusetts home, as well as abroad and online.
