University Diagnostic Institute is a freestanding imaging center located at 3301 USF Alumni Drive Tampa, Florida 33612. For the past 32 years, UDI has surpassed the challenge of providing superior technology, service and care to the Tampa Bay Community. UDI is widely recognized throughout the country for its reputation of combining excellence with superior personalized patient care. This premier outpatient medical imaging facility was founded in 1983 on the campus of the University of South Florida, down the street from USF Morsani Clinics and H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. It was the first specialized high-tech medical imaging center in Tampa. Since then, the original MRI equipment has been upgraded to 1.5 Tesla strength and joined by a 3.0 Tesla MRI that is the most sophisticated and advanced medical imaging scanner available for clinical imaging today.
