The Black and Latino Male Initiative (BLMI) is an academic support program designed to assist students academically and professionally throughout their college career. The core mission of BLMI is to increase the graduation and retention rates of black, Latino, and other historically underrepresented male students enrolled at Brooklyn College, although the program and its activities are open to all students without regard to race, gender, national origin, or other characteristics.
