KRES Poliskola

www.krespoliskola.com

KRES Poliskola is an independent international nonprofit nongovernmental organization with a mission to enlighten in the Russian language. Our goal is to help those who speak Russian at home, regardless of their country of residence, become full-fledged citizens of democratic society. KRES Poliskola was established in 2016 as a result of a merger between the Committee for Russian Economic Freedom founded by attorney Pavel Ivlev in New York in 2009 and documentary filmmaker Grigory Amnuel’s “International Dialog” Open Club located in Riga, Latvia. KRES Poliskola is engaged in the study of humanities thus contributing to the formation of free democratic societies in former Soviet republics and facilitating the integration of emigrants from these countries. Our goal is to help as many people as possible born behind the “Iron Curtain” become free and independent citizens of a civilized world. We are convinced that studying traditions, history, norms and rules of behavior accepted in the Western world in a familiar and easy-to-understand language is the best way to reach this goal. KRES Poliskola contributes to the adjustment of Russian-speaking immigrants and residents of former Soviet republics to a responsible life in the modern global society through legal, civil and historic education. KRES Poliskola organizes educational events and discussions (lectures, seminars and conferences) in the Russian language and provides information and consulting support to Russian-speaking immigrants seeking to pursue sustainable livelihood in the United States and EU countries. KRES Poliskola has offices in Riga and New York.
