Expeditionary Learning provides active, engaging and rigorous learning in a collaborative, authentic, hands-on, project based environment where children love to learn. Mission of Hayden Canyon Charter School: To awaken a passion for discovery and life-long learning; to ignite collaboration in students and teachers that builds character and transcends individual potential. The proposed Hayden Canyon Charter School of Expeditionary Learning will be located within a 610 acre master planned community called Hayden Canyon. Over 250 acres will be set aside as open space, which includes a beautiful canyon preserve. At the heart of Hayden Canyon is the Community Campus. In addition to the proposed school facility, the Community Campus will be multi-purpose and shared by several non-profit community service providers.
