For over sixty years, the BC Summer Swimming Association has guided the development of an amazing competitive sport that gives kids of all abilities a place to reach their own personal best. Summer swimming is a wholesome, family-based sport that provides kids with fitness, friendships and a sense of personal accomplishment, regardless of their skill or starting place. Summer swimming complements other sports and still allows families time for other pursuits. The British Columbia, the BC Summer Swimming Association offers speed swimming, diving, water polo and synchronized swimming. The association has grown from three clubs in 1958, to over 60 clubs today and over 6000 athletes. Our affiliated clubs offer convenient practice times and locations, a flexible and manageable time commitment and a balance between achievement and fun.
