Basra Industrial Community (BIC): is a +/- 20,000 square meter camp and office complex situated within the North Rumaila Oil Field in Southern Iraq; approximately 65 kilometers from Basra International Airport. Designed to offer superior living accommodation and life support services, the complex has been audited and approved by a number of International Oil Companies (IOCs), including: Shell, Lukoil and Exxon. In order to address safety concerns of companies operating in southern Iraq, Schwob employs dedicated full time Security Managers operating 24hrs a day, as well as a BP approved independent security company to provide access control and static guarding.
