We are a chain of corporate daycare centres, deeply attached to values of inspiring trust, thinking from the heart and not from the head, and being open to feedbacks. We have launched our first centre way back in 2013, with a clear objective of helping mothers with freedom of choice, a choice between pursuing career opportunities and being a stay at home mother. A leading organisation was facing a problem. They were rated among the best places to work, but the rate of attrition of women employees post-childbirth was high. They were providing childcare benefits to women employees to the tune of 100% of the cost. Still they realised that the demand for the creche they set up in the campus was not much. Many employees preferred sending the child to outside creches or quit job and stay at home to take care of their babies. In the year when we did a study, 82% of the women with an infant or toddler preferred to quit. We were introduced to this company by a parent who was availing our paid services. We did a study of the situation, interacted with women employees extensively and identified areas of concern. We were selected to operate the creche with clear deliverables. In 4 years, the attrition of women with children in this company is dropped to 6%. We have seen a clear bias for women to join this company over competitors, mostly aided by the professional childcare centre of Feathertouch. Helping businesses in retaining top talent is extremely rewarding – we are now 20 centres in Bangalore and Hyderabad, and the launch of our centres in Pune and Chennai is in the pipeline. Currently, we are helping employees from the IT, Manufacturing and Pharma industries. On our client list is 5 out of the top 10 IT companies in India, three of the largest Pharma companies and some remarkable names in the fortune 500 list. We are riding on an ambition to build a chain of India's most reputed daycare centres, while being accessible and affordable to a large pool of parents.
