ReshmeeBeedasie Owner and Food Safety Specialist is the only South African to obtain a Master of Science Degree in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) from the University of Salford in Manchester, UK. She also obtained a Bachelor of Technology Degree Cum Laude in Food Technology and a Diploma in Food Technology, both from the Durban University of Technology. She is in process of completing her Doctorate in the field of food safety management system in the South African red meat industry. In contrast to industry norms, Reshmee implemented the highest level food safety management system FSSC22000 at a red meat processing plant that went from 150 employees to 500 employees five and a half month after startup. She has 21 years’ experience in the fields of food safety auditing, food safety management systems, food safety consulting and microbiological testing.
