Volunteer Louisiana is the state service commission housed in the Office of Lt. Governor. Volunteer Louisiana's mission is to meet the needs of Louisiana citizens through volunteerism and national service. Volunteer Louisiana administers AmeriCorps grants for programs operating in Louisiana, promotes volunteerism statewide, and helps coordinate volunteers and national service members in times of disaster.
