Vereda is a newly founded architectural studio that features João Paulo Meirelles de Faria's ten years of experience. João Paulo is a graduate architect from the University of São Paulo in 2002 and from Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he received his Master of Architecture degree in 2012. In those ten years, João Paulo has consolidated experiences in residential, institutional and commercial designs while working for two important offices in São Paulo: André Vainer e Guilherme Paoliello Architects and SPBR Architects, studio directed by Angelo Bucci. In the last six years, he was an associate architect at SPBR where he helped elaborating and developing a series of awarded projects. At Harvard, he has broadened his understanding of the contemporary architectural debate and established contacts with professionals from the architecture, landscape and urban design fields, structuring a network of partnerships for the development of projects. Vereda Architects is an office capable of developing projects ranging from furniture design to large scale architectural projects. For each of those necessities it organizes specific teams, in Brazil and internationally. With its production - intellectual and from constructed designs - Vereda wants to contribute to the transformation of our cities: so that they can be places to develop our full personal capabilities and of expression of our best collective ideals.
