Muir Wood Adolescent & Family Services is a gender-specific residential treatment program serving boys and girls ages 12-17 experiencing mental health and dual-diagnosis conditions in an environment that emphasizes kindness and compassion over confrontation and control. Muir Wood is three separate, gender-specific programs located on 48 acres in beautiful Sonoma County, California. Our uniquely integrated medical-clinical model brings together: -Full time, on-site Psychiatrists, -Addiction Medicine specialists -Master's and PhD level therapists with 5 or fewer on caseload -Full-time Registered Nursing staff, -Master's level CA state credentialed educators (in each of our Learning Centers), -Specialty clinicians-Art & Music Therapists, Yoga and Reiki practitioners This well-credentialed, close-knit group of experienced clinicians and our compassionate 24-hour care-coordination staff work seamlessly together to create a culture of safety and respect at Muir Wood that has made us a trusted partner to families and medical professionals for over a decade.
