Talking Eyes Media (TEM) is a non-profit award-winning multimedia production company. As visual storytellers, we create powerful media for pressing issues. Since its founding in 2002 by writer/filmmaker Julie Winokur and photojournalist Ed Kashi, Talking Eyes has been at the forefront of multimedia storytelling, producing documentary films, multimedia, books and exhibitions. TEM has a multi-disciplinary approach, combining exceptional video, photography, audio, writing, and editing. We distinguish ourselves through our depth of coverage, quality of production, editorial eye, unique content of our projects, and polished aesthetic. We draw on years of experience from the acclaimed filmmakers, photographers, graphic designers, and writers who contribute to Talking Eyes Media. Social entrepreneurs, policy makers, private corporations and public organizations have effectively used our materials to put a human face on complex social issues and broaden public discourse.
