Founded in Indianapolis in 2001, Banded Artists is a media production company now headquartered in Los Angeles and New York City, with a top-rate CGI/web department located in Austin, Texas. The company works with a variety of up-and-coming producers, directors, and writers in the development and production of narrative features, documentaries, and television content. It is probably best known for it's underground hit 'PRESS FOR TRUTH' (2006), an acclaimed theatrical documentary telling the story of four 9/11 widows' battle with the Bush administration for the creation of the 9/11 Commission. The gritty indie crime drama 'FOOLPROOF PLAN', shot on Super 16MM, was the company's first foray into the world of narrative features. Banded Artists has also established itself at the forefront of new media through it's Internet short films arm Stolen Dress.
