Squash Haven is an after-school enrichment program for New Haven youth. We strive for progress in the classroom, on the squash courts, and in the community! Squash Haven's Program began in 2007 with two partner schools, one staff person, and a small team of fifth and sixth grade students. Today, we are one of the leading youth development programs in the city of New Haven, serving 100 students in fifth through eleventh grades from 24 New Haven public partner schools. New middle school students are selected annually on the basis of their motivation and commitment. Squash Haven is one of twenty-one member programs of the National Urban Squash and Education Association. Nationally, 100% of graduating urban squash seniors matriculate at colleges and universities.
