Founded in 1980 by Jean Garvey, The Independent School offers a remarkable history and a thriving community spirit based on a school-family partnership that focuses on a student-centered learning environment. The Independent School continues to build on the foundation that guided its founder more than 35 years ago: to provide a cost-effective, college preparatory education for a lifetime of learning.
