Uni-Italia is an Italian Association founded on July 30th 2010 jointly by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education, of Universities and Research, the Ministry of Interior and the Italy China Foundation, in charge of promoting the Italian educational system. Besides the Uni-Italia Rome Headquarters, there are further Centers operating within the Italian Embassies abroad and in their respective Consulates, with the intention of operationally supporting Italian institutions in their promotional activities. In particular, the Centers’ activities are aimed at providing more information to foreign students, improving the selection processes and increasing knowledge of the Italian language. In Italy, the Association aids foreign students through Uni-Italia local helpdesks coordinated by a national referent. Their task is to facilitate the permanence and the integration of students into the social, academic and cultural life of the city hosting them.
