This Pathfinders Mission is simple: Find vets in need, get them into the woods, help them heal their spirits, and then tell their story so it might inspire other vets. Buddy Lee Doberteen is a Marine, who was disabled in combat in Iraq. After a long and ongoing struggle to heal physically, he found that being in the woods helped heal his spirit and soul. He has then spent much of his time helping other veterans. Mike Christman is an outdoors-man, filmmaker and former professional boar hunting guide with 20 years of experience in the woods - having taken people from all over the world hunting in Texas. Mike and Buddy met when Buddy was looking for someone willing to take a wounded vet on a hunt, and have since become longtime friends.
