Web commerce portal. Peta.cl does not manage stock nor inventory, instead uses a robotic software which connects to wholesalers (providers) and publishes stocks and prices on the web. It synchronize stock availability every couple of hours. Upon a new customer orders get in, the portal sends a purchase order to the wholesalers for the required product and sends a pick-up request to the shipping company (courier) which will be in charge for the final delivery to the client.
