Amor Pra Down – AAPD is a charitable nonprofit organization, formed by parents, professionals and friends of people with Down syndrome (DS). Institutional directives: The executive Board of AAPD, representing the associated, defined the course of action that govern the administration of the Association. This definitions are taken into account in all of decisions. They are: Vision “Be recognize as a referential in support of DOWN society, in all segment – institutional, educational, social, family, personal, emotional. A welcoming environment, exchange of experience and aggregation.” Mission “Promote the assistance, inclusion and development within the affective, social and cognitive aspects of people with Down syndrome, and support to their families, offering specialized care, creating action for their independence, autonomy and inclusion in society, at all stages of their lives.
