Courtney & Nye Inc. is a stable manufacturer’s representative firm with deep roots in Northwest industry. We feature a professional staff of experienced sales engineers that cover Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho and Montana. The company’s main office is located just outside Portland, Oregon, and includes a warehouse with heat exchangers, pumps and parts in inventory. There are additional locations in Seattle and Spokane. The company was started in 1967 by Jack Courtney, BSME, University of Washington, after working for Worthington Corporation. He represented many of the companies still covered by Courtney & Nye today. Larry Nye, BSME, University of Idaho, joined the company in 1978 after working in engineering, maintenance and supervision for Boise Cascade. Larry became exclusive owner in 1988. In May 2001, Wendell LaMotte, Don Wold and Kelly Elstrott purchased Courtney & Nye from Larry Nye. In 2015, Wendell LaMotte continued the Courtney & Nye legacy as sole owner.
