SISSA is the representative body for the Information Systems concentration at the Sprott School of Business. We aim to educate and inspire students about the rise of Information Systems and data with the use of workshops, career panels and networking events with professionals in the industry. For current students, we provide access to a network of alumni, professionals, and fellow students in the IS industry through a variety of events that allow the expansion of their network. For undeclared Commerce students, we provide education about IS as a concentration and as a discipline by communicating the importance of IS as an integral part of other business functions. Through our events we give undecided students exposure to the IS industry with the hopes that they choose to pursue IS as a concentration. We maintain a strong connection with our alumni by providing them the opportunity to contribute back to Sprott and SISSA by taking part in our community development. They have the ability to sponsor their organizations at our events, and pass on their experiences to upcoming students.
