We mobilize the community to help people improve their lives. We are focused on demonstrating impact in all aspects of our work. Our human and financial resources are dedicated to achieving measurable results in four key areas identified by the community. We believe that families need to be self-sufficient, everyone should be ready to work, young people must succeed in school and that people in need can find help. This year, over $1,000,000 will be invested in 39 community-based programs that align with these priorities. Funding decisions are made locally by a team of 45 volunteers from all walks of life and approved by the Board of Directors. For every dollar donated, $0.85 is returned to the community in programming and 100% of every donation remains in Southern Chautauqua County.
