It provides them all the support necessary to grow to be independent adults, ready for real world. The international student experience in Australia needs to be radically improved. Students struggle to find affordable, quality housing and suffer from isolation, loneliness and vulnerability. Lacking a local network they have few opportunities for meaingful community contact, find it difficult to find jobs and fail to enjoy a complete Australian experience. This is unfair to the students, has long term negative impacts on our third largest export market and is overall detrimental to the impression of Australia internationally.
