The Resource Recovery Coalition of California was founded over 50 years ago and is comprised of collection and recycling companies operating in over 50 cities and counties throughout California. Many of our member companies are third, fourth, or fifth generation family owners who live in the communities they serve. The solid waste and recycling industry touches every resident and employee in a community, and because our members are part of that same community, they are are committed to being excellent service provides and environmental stewards as well as bolstering the local economy by creating more jobs through recycling. Alongside their cities and counties, our members have invested considerably in innovative technologies to divert material from the landfill, recycle more and create vital products like renewable energy and compost for agriculture. We are an integral part of the communities we serve and are excited to be at the forefront of California’s climate change initiatives and opportunities.
