The business consulting approach can be described as creative yet pragmatic bridging the multi-disciplinary and multi-stakeholder expertise with my ability to innovate the brand building efforts for my clients. Projects MERIKA built the Duchy Originals brand around the world by using alternative distribution and promotion models e.g. being the first to place a premium, sustainable food brand in non-food outlets such as Collette in Paris or Lane Crawford Home in Hong Kong. For Daylesford, the vision was to create a global café brand linked to local supplier stories was implemented in Seoul, Tokyo and Munch though a franchise model which I designed. The Linda McCartney brand provided the opportunity to reposition a legacy brand in the 21st Century which though ‘Meat Free Monday’ and other initiatives which increased sales from £4M to £40M under MERIKA's management. As the visionary behind Wyse Organic in NY, the company links organic farms with consumers though convenient, sous-vide packed frozen meals. Most recently we have helped create and implement growth plans for the European market place. MERIKA helped create brands like Rebel Kitchen, Karma Cola and Plenish Cold Press Juices and current projects include pan-European business strategy for Family legacy brand Guittard Chocolate of San Fransisco. Past US clients have included Scharffenberger Chocolate Maker and NUMI Organic Tea.
