What started out as a small peer-to-peer support group at the beginning of Covid-19 has grown into a full-fledged, registered mental health NGO today. We began our story with small dreams, trying to relive people of their day-to-day stress by having peer support sessions. As we delved deeper into these problems, our mission started expanding. We came to terms with the harsh reality: that access to mental health therapy in our country is still out of reach for so many people. Here is where we want to step in. By providing free therapy virtually, we are hitting the two major root causes of this issue – we provide the funding, we provide the right therapist – and all that anybody needs is an internet connection and a will to get better at dealing with their mental health problems. We are still growing and our team works relentlessly on this mission, with a fierce determination to improve the mental health of our people. Yet, we could always benefit with some help.
