Governance United Ltd is a consultancy set up in 2018 by three governance experts; Gemma Sykes, Janice Shardlow and Rowland Jack, who have a background in the sport and wider not-for-profit sector. Specialist services include: • External evaluation of boards • Developing guidance and templates for organisations working to improve governance • Auditing organisational governance against set standards • Conducting research on governance issues In our first two years we have worked for a major international institution, a government agency and national governing bodies of sport.
