RCDR is dedicated to research, conservation and sustainable management of coral reefs and coastal ecosystems in the Dominican Republic. Founded in 2004 by marine biologist Ruben Torres, PhD. RCDR works in partnership with coastal communities, private business and government institutions to promote a sustainable economic model that protects marine resources while creating a better livelihood for the local population.
