Blue Beyond is a grass-roots initiative that was born out of the frustration felt by many Young Conservatives based outside of London. Feeling ignored by the party youth wing and priced out of events taking place hundreds of miles from where they live, hundreds of activists - be it from Aldershot to Aberavon or from Armagh to Aberdeen - many have come together to work for a brighter future for the youth wing. Blue Beyond's aims are very simple: it seeks to push the youth wing to be less London-centric, to promote greater engagement with youth activists in policy making and to give all activists equal access to the party - not just those who happen to work in SW1A or can swing by to CCHQ regularly. For the party to be relevant and get the youth vote, it must come to you - the young voters - with policies to vote for and a youth wing that really is inclusive.
