The International Coach Federation defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” Ontology is the philosophical study of the nature of being. As an ontological coach, I partner with clients in looking first at who they are being, then at who they want to be, and then let these insights inform their actions. This method of coaching creates powerful shifts at a deep level, resulting in transformation in all areas of life. Clients develop new awareness and insight. Rather than simply changing surface behaviors and habits, this leads to permanent, sustainable changes.
