The Society of Chemical and Process Engineering Students (SCaPES) is the community which comprises Chemical and Process Engineering Undergraduates in University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. With the mission of ensuring a proper career development in undergraduates, various career development programmes are organized from time to time with the guidance of academia, which are mainly oriented to improve soft skills of undergraduates, while providing the required technical knowledge related to industrial applications as well. Internal and external knowledge sharing sessions, industrial plant visits, events in collaboration with other departments are also conducted in order to bring about the unique skills and talents of students as well as promote interpersonal skills and team work.
